Pupil Care
It cannot be stressed too strongly how much emphasis is placed on the development of decent human beings at Clifton - confidence without arrogance is what we strive daily to achieve with the children entrusted to our care.
This vision is realised through many channels, and the House system plays and important part within this context. We also work to produce healthy minds and bodies through our catering, PE and PSHE programmes.
Every child has a right to enjoy his or her education free from harassment or fear, and it is a confident school which confronts these issues openly and honestly. It is through the House system, and a School Council elected by the pupils meeting regularly with the Headmaster and his wife, that the effectiveness of our anti-bullying strategy is achieved. This belief is underpinned by the work that goes on in PSHE lessons and Tutor groups, and lies at the heart of our belief that a child's education and time spent here should, above all else, be happy and enjoyable.
