Earthkeepers

"Earthkeepers" is a Private/Public partnership which we have joined with High Down Junior School, Portishead.

Year 5 participate in three days of field work at Goblin Combe. They study food chains (by looking for evidence in their surroundings), cycling of material, effects of pollution as well observing the environment they were in for follow up work in English and Art. Activities also include an exploration walk, time capsules and keeping a diary. Subsequently, they look to improve recycling and energy saving at home and school, and pass on the knowledge and experiences they have gathered to others to gain their Earthkeeper keys.
