Clifton College Sports Ground
The Clifton College Sports Ground, Abbots Leigh, also known as ‘Beggar Bush’, is situated a few minutes drive from the main Clifton
College, across Brunel’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.
With two full size Astroturf pitches, it is the perfect venue for a wide variety of sports, with activities and weekly football leagues running throughout
the year. All of our facilities and pitches are available for hire – call 0117 9237780 to book!
Also on site we have the recently re-furbished Indoor Sports Centre (the ‘Bubble’) which is specifically designed for indoor tennis and netball. This is
Bristol’s best pay and play tennis facility – so if you love tennis but hate playing in bad weather, this is the ideal place to play.

Also at the Sports Ground we have the college’s second gym – The Workshop. Equipped with the most up to date Precor fitness equipment, this is a great
place to reach your fitness goals. If you want to lose weight or improve your general fitness, we have Personal Trainers on hand throughout the day and evening
to help you on your path to glory.
After your sporting session, the Pavilion offers a great place to relax with friends. Our big-screen TV always shows the best sporting action, including
Premiership, Champions League and International matches. A great venue to watch any sporting event!
We also have a large function room available that is an ideal year round venue for:
