Casualty filming

On Friday 25 January the film crew of Casualty came to school to shoot footage of Year 3 playing in the playground. It was very exciting and all the children learnt something about how television cameras worked and how long it takes to shoot some film which might only last two minutes of an episode!

The filming was of two child actors getting out of a consultants car in The Avenue, saying goodbye to their mummy and joining our Butcombe children already having fun in the playground.

Well done to all those hawk-eyes who have spotted the sign renaming our School to Edwalton House.

Look out for this episode on 12 April 2008 — maybe we have some future stars in the making!
